Tiger Shroff Targeted in Firing Attack, Driver Shot

Bollywood shaken by a frightening shooting incident in Mumbai after gunmen allegedly opened fire on actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Juhu on Sunday evening, October 18.

October 19, 2026: The attack, which reportedly took place near Pushpa Narsee Park and Jamnabai Nursery as Shroff was leaving after playing football, has raised serious questions about celebrity security and the reach of organised crime in the country’s financial capital.

Shroff, 36, reportedly escaped with minor injuries, including abrasions and possible gunpowder burns, while his driver sustained a bullet injury to the hand. Reports also indicate that another person was injured. Multiple rounds allegedly struck the vehicle, turning what should have been an ordinary evening into a terrifying encounter with gun violence.

The incident has also triggered alarm over a possible organised-crime connection. Individuals identified in reports as gangster Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu have reportedly claimed responsibility on social media, allegedly invoking links to the Lawrence Bishnoi network and issuing threats connected to Salman Khan. Mumbai Police have not yet publicly verified the authenticity of these claims, and the alleged gang connection remains under investigation.+2

Police have launched an extensive manhunt, examining CCTV footage and forensic evidence to identify the shooters and reconstruct their escape. Reports differ on the number of rounds fired, and the latest accounts should be checked as the investigation develops.

A strange twist in the story came with the comments of Shivam Yadav, a journalist, commenting on the respect even the police give gangsters like Lawrence Bishnoi!

The country’s biggest gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s name is taken with respect even by the Delhi Police,
“Lawrence Bishnoi Sahab” Wow, brother,
This gangster has spread terror, yet the Delhi Police takes his name with respect, and the same BJP government is getting him VIP treatment in a Gujarat jail

The attack has reignited concerns about Mumbai’s law-and-order situation, particularly given previous incidents involving threats and firing connected to Bollywood personalities. Maharashtra leaders have promised strict action against those responsible.

The central question is no longer just who pulled the trigger, but whether organised gunmen can operate so brazenly in a crowded Mumbai neighbourhood and escape before they are caught.
