Chilling footage from eastern Gaza City shows quadcopters weaving between shattered buildings as civilians remain under the shadow of aerial surveillance

The footage, circulated widely on September 13, shows small drones flying at extremely low altitude between damaged multi-storey buildings, hovering near windows and manoeuvring around corners of shattered structures.
The imagery has been carried or circulated by several major regional news organisations, including Al Jazeera English, Quds News Network, Arab News and Al Arabiya English, with the location identified as Al-Tuffah.
A SKY FILLED WITH SURVEILLANCE
Israeli military quadcopters have previously been documented operating over residential areas of Gaza for surveillance and other military purposes. Reports have also documented their use in connection with evacuation warnings and, in some cases, the firing of weapons or dropping of munitions.
This footage unmistakably captures the presence of military-style quadcopters moving through a heavily damaged civilian environment, sometimes close to buildings and windows.
